"The Clever Fox and the Proud Tiger"
All creatures dreaded Rajan, a powerful tiger that lived in a thick forest. He felt confident in his strength and thought that nobody could outwit or outlast him. While skulking through the bush one day, Rajan stumbled onto Kavi, a little, cunning fox with a reputation for cunning.
Feeling arrogant, Rajan chose to play with the fox. He hissed, "Little fox, I'm the strongest animal in this jungle." Nothing you do will allow you to get away from me.
Knowing the tiger to be conceited, Kavi chose to employ his cunning. "Oh, great Rajan," the fox said in a humble manner.
Though you are undoubtedly the strongest, did you know that I am the king's envoy? The king will be extremely upset if you hurt me.
Rajan was curious. "The monarch? Who is this monarch you are referring to?
Kavi gestured to a large cave close by. There resides the jungle's ruler. Compared to you, he is even more formidable and powerful. However, he values brains, and I am a reliable counsel to him.
Rajan was intrigued and a little unsure, so he decided to look into it.He commanded, "I want to see this king."
After guiding Rajan to the cave, Kavi said, "Please wait outside. The king prefers not to be disturbed when he is sleeping.
Kavi went away fast while Rajan waited. Rajan eventually lost patience and went inside the cave, only to discover it was empty. Rajan yelled in rage, realizing he'd been duped, but Kavi was long gone, safe and sound.
Rajan had an appreciation for intellect after that day, and the forest began to know Kavi's cunning as a legend.
